Plan NH Charette
Michelle & lucille have almost completed the application for the Charette. We will present to Planning Board on April 3rd. We would like Planning and Select Board to be involved with this project.
Information Booth @ Town Meeting-Ann, lucille, Kate & Dawn will help set up. We will also have the Main Street Architectural panels on display.
Michelle reported on the Grange Organization Fair. The fair was very informative. We received information on what other groups, committees, commissions are responsible for in town. Thank You Grange for letting us attend this event.
Kate explained the sign change ordinance that is on the ballot. It is a zoning change.
Bob updated us on the Canterbury Rd. Tree Project.
- The trees will be at the nursery May 1st.
- We will plant 5 Sugar Maples.
- This project is fully funded
- We need to decide on where to plant the trees.
- Hopefully we can get "caretakers" for the trees, i.e. watering, mulching, etc.
The members have been asked to read over the Barn & Preservation Easement chapters in our handbook. Our April meeting will be a presentation on "Preservation Easements, What every Heritage Commission needs to know". This is given by the NH Preservation Alliance. Please note this meeting is the 4th Thursday of the month, April24th @ 7:00
Scenic Rd. Designation.
We have interest from people on Webster Mills Rd. Kate will head up this project.
